    It has been a whirlwind few days for Finnish defenceman Sami Niku.     The Winnipeg Jets have come to terms with recently-acquired forward Nic Kerdiles on a one-year, two-way deal worth $650K at the NHL level. 

  • The Winnipeg Jets have assigned defenceman Sami Niku and goaltender Eric Comrie to the Manitoba Moose. Following a season in which the Jets relied on four different goaltenders to pick up victories due to injuries, Comrie is expected to be with the Moose for the remainder of the season and playoffs.
