The Brandon Wheat Kings fell 7-2 at the hands of the Medicine Hat Tigers Friday evening on road in their first game of the Western Hockey League's playoffs.

It was a run like no other for the University of Manitoba Bisons women’s hockey program this year.

Preparation for the 2017-18 season began in mid-July, and on Sunday, March 18th, the University of Manitoba Bisons female hockey team won its first national title in program history.
