The Waywayseecappo Wolverines bolstered their lineup earlier this past week, acquiring 20-year-old forward Trygve Many Guns from the OCN Blizzard in a three way deal.

The inter-league trade also sent Winnipegger Peyton Malcolm to the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League's La Ronge Ice Wolves. Although giving up Malcolm, the Wolverines are exceptionally pleased with the experience and talent that Many Guns brings to the team.

"He will definitely be relied on to play the style of hockey which has helped him become successful in this league," said General Manager Taylor Harnett. "He's had a great start of the year so far, and we're confident he will continue having that success with his new teammates."

The 6-foot-4, 225-pound forward already had three goals and six points in just four games with OCN prior to the early season trade. Then on Thursday in his first game with Wayway, Many Guns had the chance to win over his teammates, and he did just that. As the final shooter for the Wolverines in a three man shootout that had not seen any goals, Many Guns stepped up to the dish and delivered a backhand five-hole winner, earning much love and praise from his new teammates in the process.

The Virden Oil Caps visit Wayway for a rematch on Saturday, with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 P.M.
