Hockey Manitoba recently announced the 20 winners of its annual scholarships. 

Every year, the governing body of hockey within the province of Manitoba presents 20 graduating players with post-secondary scholarships for the coming 2019-20 school calendar year. These scholarships range in dollar value from $500 to $1,500 and are named after prominent Manitobans that have made significant contributions in the hockey/educational realm. 

The 20 award winners are listed below:

GEORGE ALLARD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - $1,500: Tayah Vanstone

TODD DAVISON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP – $1,000: Quinton Hiebert

NICK HILL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP – $1,000: Ethan Robson

JERRY KRUK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP – $1,000: Ryan Young

ORVILLE ACRES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP – $1,000: Megan Schroeder

BILL ADDISON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP – $750: Scott Hryhoruk

RALPH BORGER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP – $750: Rhyanne Pauls

BOB CALDWELL SCHOLARSHIP – $750: Madeline Chambers

ALBERT E. HORSEMAH “ABBIE” COO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP – $750: Micah Funk

R.A. “SAM” FABRO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP – $750: Martin Dupuis
