The Canadian Under-18 Team as well as the National Development Team will each be hosting their selection camp in early August.

On the list of 89 total invitees are six young, Manitoban women. Five of which will be trying out for the National Development Team, while one will be skating for a spot on the Under-18 squad. The two camps run from August 2-11 at the Markin MacPhail Centre at WinSport's Canada Olympic Park in Calgary. 

With Manitobans serving as five of the 45 attendees at the National Development Team camp, Manitoba will have a significant chance to see representation on the team that will have 25 forwards, 13 defencemen and seven goaltenders trying out for places. Manitoba, however, will only have one potential representative for the U-18 Program in a field of 24 forwards, 14 defencemen and six goaltenders. Those making the two Canadian teams will do battle with the United States in mini three-game series' from August 14-17 in Lake Placid, NY.

Joining these invitees in Calgary will be Manitoban Goaltender Consultant Gord Woodhall (Winnipeg), Team Physician Dr. Jen Hacking (Winnipeg), Therapist Karyn Fanstone (Oakbank) and Massage Therapist Kim Hutton (Winnipeg).

Goaltender Raygan Kirk - 5-foot-9, 145-pounds, 2001-born, Ste. Anne, MB. Robert Morris University

Defenceman Ashton Bell - 5-foot-9, 163-pounds, 1999-born, Deloraine, MB. University of Minnesota Duluth 

Defenceman Jalyn Elmes - 5-foot-9, 185-pounds, 1998-born, Brandon, MB., University of Minnesota Duluth 

Defenceman Kati Tabin - 5-foot-7, 149-pounds, 1997-born, Winnipeg, MB., Quinnipiac University 

Forward Ryleigh Houston - 5-foot-4, 138-pounds, 1998-born, Winnipeg, MB., University of Minnesota Duluth
