The American Hockey League has announced its playoff schedule for the 2018 Calder Cup.
The Manitoba Moose will face off against the 2017 Calder Cup champion Grand Rapids Griffins in a best-of-five series beginning at Bell MTS Place on Saturday April 21st.
Puckdrop from Saturday's afternoon contest will be 2:00 P.M. central time. Game two will go the following day, also in Winnipeg in another 2:00 P.M. matinee, Sunday.
Grand Rapids finished the 2017-18 just above Manitoba in the Central Division with 42 wins and 93 points. Manitoba can add to their 41 wins and 93 points Sunday afternoon, as they close out their regular season in Chicago against the Wolves.
Although beginning the series in Manitoba with the first two games, Grand Rapids will be the host of the final three games, thus giving home ice advantage to the Griffins.
