    The American Hockey League has announced its playoff schedule for the 2018 Calder Cup.

    The Manitoba Moose will face off against the 2017 Calder Cup champion Grand Rapids Griffins in a best-of-five series beginning at Bell MTS Place on Saturday April 21st.

    The American Hockey League has released its upcoming regular season schedule. Following a 2017-18 season that saw the Manitoba Moose finish third in the AHL's Central Division with a 42-26-8 record, the team is poised for a brand new 76-game campaign, beginning October 5th.

    The Manitoba Moose have agreed to renew their affiliation to the East Coast Hockey League's Jacksonville Icemen. After a one-year hiatus from the ECHL, the former Evansville Icemen returned in 2017-18, helping themselves to a 26-39-7 record.
