Star Winnipeg Jets' forward and KidSport Winnipeg Athlete Ambassador Mark Scheifele will be hosting the fourth annual  Mark Scheifele Hockey Camp in late June.

The two-day camp will serve both boys and girls from the ages of five to 12. Skaters and goalies are invited to sign up as position specific drills and sessions will occur. The yearly camp will run from June 23rd to 24th at Bell MTS Iceplex.

Joining the 2018 postseason goal scorer for the Jets on the ice will be Michael Hutchinson - who will focus his attention on the goaltending side of things - and the other staff members of the Winnipeg Jets Development Team.

“I’m really looking forward to this year’s camp and having a great time with all the kids again,” Scheifele said. “It’s such a rewarding and positive experience to be on ice with them and help them grow their game. The energy and enthusiasm they bring is contagious and we have so much fun together as we work on developing their skills.”

All proceeds from the Mark Scheifele Hockey Camp will go towards registration fees of those children whose families are unable to afford placing their children in competitive sporting programs.
