Following two exceptionally close losses in its first two contests, Manitoba's lone representative in the 2018 RBC Cup - the Steinbach Pistons - will be facing off against the Ottawa Junior Senators Wednesday evening in Chilliwack B.C.

The Steinbach Pistons etched their name into the Anavet Cup Monday night, with a 2-1 victory over the Nipawin Hawks in game six of the series. In doing so, Steinbach has punched its ticket to the RBC Cup for the first time in franchise history.

The Steinbach Pistons are MJHL champions. The Manitoba Junior Hockey League season has come to a close, and with it, another new champ has been named. Steinbach collected their second Turnbull Cup in franchise history, and first championship since 2013.
