Even without their best player, the Manitoba Moose have been able to score goals and win hockey games. And it was on full display in their 6-3 victory Wednesday night in Grand Rapids.

It took the Manitoba Moose all of 2:43 to score the opening goal of game two of the Central Division Semifinal from Bell MTS Place Sunday. What appeared to be a great start for the home team was instantly trounced by the Grand Rapids Griffins.

It certainly wasn't the 5-0 blowout that their NHL affiliate Winnipeg Jets provided Friday, but the Manitoba Moose picked up a 3-2 victory Saturday afternoon from Bell MTS Place, in game one of their first round series with the visiting Grand Rapids Griffins.
